TheBabySteps - App Store

Every week, TheBabySteps answers the one question every parent asks: "What should we do this week to help our child grow?"

Built for children ages 2.5 to 6, TheBabySteps is a complete, offline parenting companion - not another parenting blog. It's a week-by-week guide covering language, motor skills, creativity, emotional development, and more, paired with real activities, books, songs, and gentle developmental guidance for every stage from toddlerhood through kindergarten readiness.

THE JOURNEY
A full roadmap from 2.5 to 6 years old, organized into themed months and weeks - animals, space, dinosaurs, the ocean, and dozens more. Every week blends language, math, creativity, fine and gross motor play, music, nature, social skills, and family bonding into a simple daily rhythm your family can actually follow.

TODAY
No guessing what to do this afternoon. Today's Mission, a hands-on activity for every category, and a bedtime story pick - all ready the moment you open the app.

THE DAD PLAYBOOK & MOM PLAYBOOK
Daily, weekly, and monthly activities built around how each parent naturally connects - adventure, building, and confidence for Dad; language, bonding, and creativity for Mom. Because every parent shows up differently, and both matter.

SCREEN TIME, REPLACED
A huge library of screen-free alternatives - indoor games, pretend play, cooking, crafts, nature scavenger hunts, and car-ride games - for every "I'm bored" moment.

BOOKS, SONGS & MORE
Real, well-loved children's books and traditional songs, each with why-to-read notes, vocabulary, and conversation starters. Save favorites and revisit them anytime.

PROGRESS & BADGES
Watch the weeks add up with simple charts, earn badges like Explorer, Reader, and Kind Helper, and jot down the small milestones worth remembering.

GROUNDED IN REAL RESEARCH
Every developmental guideline in the app is written in plain language and informed by publicly available guidance from sources such as the CDC's "Learn the Signs. Act Early." program, the American Academy of Pediatrics, Zero to Three, and Montessori practical-life principles - never a rigid checklist, always a starting point for the conversations that matter.

PRIVACY, KEPT SIMPLE
No account or sign-up, ever. Your child's Journey, playbooks, and everything you save work fully offline, right on your device. We use anonymous crash reports and usage analytics to help us improve the app - you're always in control, and can turn this off anytime in Settings.

Parents should never feel guilty about a missed day. TheBabySteps is built to celebrate small, consistent steps - because every week, every milestone, every small step matters.

Note: TheBabySteps offers general, evidence-informed guidance and is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Always talk with your child's pediatrician about questions specific to their development.
